A new data analysis, market research and positioning firm needed a technology infrastructure that could take them from being a home-based business to a multi-state company.

The company has doubled three times in the last 10 years, expanding to New York. New employee on-boarding happens in a matter of hours. Employee productivity begins day one. IT costs throughout their growth have been stable and highly predictable.
Sommita recognized the benefits available to this company by launching their business in the 21st century – and in the age of the Cloud. They wanted to be able to scale fast. It was their goal to communicate, collaborate, access information, store data and retrieve it from anywhere and at any time. They started the business in a beautiful home and then eventually moved to a small office with a great view of Lake Washington. However, there were no places for PBX systems, email servers, backup and recovery systems, etc. Nor were they looking to take on huge capital expenses in creating and scaling their operation.
Sommita linked together a meshed and complimentary set of best-in-breed cloud services. They included voice (hosted VoIP), data (fiber Ethernet Internet connectivity), Unified Communications (presence, messaging and audio and video integration), hosted productivity applications (such as Hosted Exchange, Office 365 and SharePoint for communication and collaboration), secure file sharing and cloud hosted secure data backup.
